Erik Sommer
Erik Sommer (born Minnesota, February 25, 1978) is a contemporary artist living in New York City. Page 91. )〕 Sommer is represented by (Rooster Gallery ) in New York. ==Career== Erik Sommer has been exhibiting art in group and solo shows since 2006.〔("Interview on WKCR 89.9 FM" )〕 He has been represented by Rooster Gallery in New York City since 2010. His first solo exhibition with Rooster, ''(Red Balloon (I Wish I Was A) ),'' took place in December 2010. His second solo show with the gallery, ''(And Riding Clouds )'', opened April 2013. ''(Pray To Fallen Skies )'', Sommer's first solo international exhibition, opened in London at Rook & Raven in November 2012. The show was produced by Adam Waymouth Art, and consisted of a body of larger all-white work that was displayed in two separate viewing rooms constructed within the gallery by architect/designer Tom Finch. Access to these spaces was limited so that viewers could experience the work unhindered. 〔("What makes you STOP in the street and stare?"
